Florida South remained one of the top metro areas for all cash home sales in January 2015. Miami came in second, with 59 percent of sales being cash. Detroit, Michigan came in first place at 65.5 percent, with West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale occupying the third and fifth spots.

Luxury home sales in Palm Beach County rose in 2014. Approximately 1,100 homes priced at 1 million dollars or more sold throughout the year. The luxury home sales mark a 16 percent increase from a year prior and a 54 percent increase from 2012.

According to the 4th Quarter 2014 Elliman Reports, the Miami Beach real estate market continued to post gains. Overall home prices in Miami Beach and the barrier islands increased, as did available inventory.

2014 was a successful year for luxury real estate on Palm Beach Island. During the first three quarters of 2014, eight single-family homes on the exclusive island sold for 20 million dollars or more, compared to just three in 2013.
