Official property values increased in nearly every part of Broward County, according to Broward’s property appraiser. It was the best real estate report the county has seen since the recent recession. On average, property values rose 3.9 percent.

Brazil has surpassed Canada as the top international source for both visitors and property buyers in Miami. In 2012, Brazilians became the most numerous overseas tourists and the most likely to acquire real estate in Miami. Last year, 690,000 Brazilians visited the city, up 8.8 percent from 2011. They spent an estimated 1.5 billion dollars.

Immobilienpreise in South Florida hat sich im März wegen der steigenden Nachfrage und sinkenden Gehäuse Inventar zu erhöhen. In Miami-Dade County, der mittlere Preis eines Einfamilienhauses stieg 25,1 Prozent auf 225.000 US-Dollar, im Vergleich zu 179.850 US-Dollar ein Jahr zuvor. In Broward County, der mittlere Preis eines bestehenden Einfamilienhauses sprang 26,3 Prozent auf 242.500 US-Dollar im März von 192.000 US-Dollar ein Jahr zuvor. Im Durchschnitt waren Einfamilienhäuser auf dem Markt für nur 30 Tage, im Vergleich zu 46 Tage im letzten Jahr.
