We have been seeing record breaking sales over the past few months for oceanfront penthouses in Miami Beach, and now there is a new high at thirty four million dollars at the Miami Beach Edition.
The Miami Beach Edition launched sales this past January and already has the highest priced penthouse sale in Miami, according to real estate records. Penthouses 1601 and 1602 were purchased together to form a 16,271 square foot home featuring eight bedrooms/eight and three-half baths. One penthouse has views of the ocean and the other penthouse has views of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Both penthouses have private elevators that open onto the rooftop with a pool and an outdoor kitchen and glass-enclosed dining area.
The Miami Beach Edition is an oceanfront condominium tower and hotel with 26 high-end condominiums and two penthouses. The residences will be part of the hotel but will have a separate entrance.
Hotelier Ian Schrager partnered with the Marriott International, and architect John Pawson to develop the exquisite Miami Beach Edition. This luxury condominium tower will include restaurants, a nightclub, bowling alley and an ice skating rink. Construction on this luxury tower will be finished next April.
