Indian Creek Luxury Oceanfront Estates Lead High Priced Sales in Miami

Once again we are seeing buyers from South America purchasing luxury waterfront estates in Miami. Buyers from Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil with available cash and looking for third and fourth homes have purchased much of Miami’s luxury inventory bringing prices up significantly.  

We have seen a renewed interest in Miami as a place to invest and vacation. Prices have reached historic levels, and Indian Creek seems to be at the center of Miami’s luxury waterfront high priced sales this year.

A magnificent waterfront Estate in the gated Village of Indian Creek recently sold for $47 million. This elegant bayfront mansion is the highest price paid for a luxury waterfront residence in Miami-Dade history, according to real estate agents. 

The luxury estate is a newly built 10-bedroom, 14-bathroom home. This exquisite home is located on two acres of land with a 100-foot swimming pool, cabana, six wet bars, a fooftop sky bar, a spa and a glass-enclosed waterfront gym. The luxury estate’s beach has pink sand imported from the Bahamas. The waterfront home is surrounded mostly by glass bringing in natural light throughout the house.

The original asking price was $60 million, and was then marked down to $52 million.

The second-highest luxury estate sale in the area was for $38.4 million. This luxury waterfront estate was built in 2002. The estate has 17,700 square feet with 400 feet of water frontage.

The third highest priced luxury waterfront sale is located at 19 Indian Creek Drive and sold for $18.56 million. It looks like luxury waterfront property located in Indian Creek has set the bar high for the rest of this year and moving into 2013.
