The foundation of the Porsche Design Tower Miami will be poured this weekend. Set to rise in Sunny Isles Beach, 175 concrete trucks will enter the 2.2-acre oceanfront site and pour concrete continuously for 24 hours.

Construction on the new Surf Club has commenced. The luxury beachfront project will include a renovation of the original Russel Pancoast-designed villa and new Richard Meier-designed condo towers. Four Seasons will brand and manage The Surf Club.

With construction well underway, the Mansions at Acqualina is now the tallest building in Sunny Isles Beach. The luxury oceanfront condo tower is the first building constructed under Sunny Isles’ new height cap of 649 feet. The lavish tower will be topped off in weeks.

The remains of the former Howard Johnson hotel will be demolished on Wednesday to make room for the Paramount Fort Lauderdale Beach. The demolition will begin at 8 am and is expected to take up to 3 hours.
