Luxury home sales in Palm Beach County continue to increase. The number of 1-million-dollar-plus homes sold in the first quarter of 2014 rose by 16 percent from the first quarter of 2013. It marked the second consecutive year of increased luxury home sales in Palm Beach County.

One of the two condo towers planned for the Brickell City Centre megaproject has opened for sales. The luxury condos in Reach Brickell City Centre are priced from 550,000 dollars to 2.5 million dollars. The exclusive tower will contain 390 condominiums.

A spacious beach club will be built at Related Group’s Paraiso Bay megaproject in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The private beach club will be a shared amenity between Paraiso Bay, One Paraiso and Paraiso Bayviews.

Preliminary site work at a waterfront parking lot in downtown Miami will represent the start of construction on SkyRise Miami, a 1,000-foot-tall observation tower. The placement of 3 pilings ensures that the developer can maintain height approval from the FAA before it expires in the middle of next month.

Faena House Miami Beach has topped off at 18 stories. According to the developer, all 47 luxury condos at the oceanfront development are under contract, including a lavish duplex penthouse originally listed for 50-million dollars.
